The doctors were on a 2 day visit to India to discuss and interact with the Indian Medical Fraternity on varied subjects from Cardiology to Preventive health care within the Indian scenario. On an invitation from Dr Sunita Dube Chairperson, MedscapeIndia, Dr Walker and Dr Harinath visited MedscapeIndia’s Office on January 11, 2017.
Dr Dube briefly explained the Indian scenario in reference to health care and its preventive aspect and went on to describe Medscapeindia’s involvement in the Indian healthcare sector. She underlined its activities and how they empowered the Indian citizens, more particularly the woman. Both the Australian doctors were impressed with Dr Dube’s initiatives under MedscapeIndia especially the Fit India Campaign. The luminaries also suggested the plan to be taken forward on an international level.
