The rise in diseases and widespread adoption of a sedentary lifestyle has raised concern not only for patients but also doctors. Doctors are trying to provide the most advanced and effective medical services and also paying attention to suggesting preventive measures.

MedscapeIndia invited Ophthalmologists, Physiotherapists, Dentists, Homeopaths, Diabetologists, Neurosurgeons, Radiologists, Orthopedic surgeons, Gynecologists and others to its office to discuss various important issues concerning the health sector. The doctors discussed and carved a plan for the Fit India Movement penning down its goals, challenges, objectives and strategies in order to benefit every individual on the national level.

They also discussed how doctors could contribute to the Fit India Movement and spread the ideas of the cause around the nation. They also decided to encourage yoga, early detection of diseases and preventive measures instead of medication. The doctors pledged to take more efforts to improve the status of the healthcare sector. Doctors are actively engaging in the campaign to fulfill their desires of making a fit, disease-free society.
