Fit India sets afloat in Goa

Fit India Campaign marches on to Goa from Mumbai. The state became a part of the campaign and is rescanning its health sector. The window of health insurance services provided to the state by Former CM Mr. Laxmikant Parsekar has appreciated and pledged to be a part of the campaign. MedscapeIndia Chairman Dr. Sunita Dube introduced the campaign ideas and plan to Mr. Parsekar and he was exhilarated to make Goa a part of the Fit India plan. Mr. Parsekar introduced various healthcare policies and enabled improved healthcare services to the state. He was actively involved in Save the Girl Child program. He also introduced the campaign idea in Goa.



Vital issues like the growing risk of deadly diseases, impact of sedentary lifestyle and delayed medical services were discussed in great detail. Goa plans to conduct the Little Doctor Training Program in different parts of the state. Being a MedscapeIndia Awardee himself, Mr. Parsekar advised on the various activities to be carried out under the movement. Fit India Movement aims to reach every nook and corner of the country and improve medical facilities provided to the poor.
